With this machine, we move the level further in the segment and we are incredibly proud of the result. It’s more powerful than ever with a four-cylinder 1.5-litre diesel engine from Kubota. The engine has a high torque. This, combined with a more powerful drivetrain and the large wheels, gives the machine extreme off-road capability. The drivetrain consists of a double rental thermostat in which one pump goes to the front wheels and one goes to the rear wheels, as well as a gear pump for crane and steering. The machine has 6-wheel drive in high and low gear. On the transport gear, it is front-wheel drive. A machine in this class requires an automatic waist lock. This, together with our automatic parking brake, makes the machine even more efficient. Waist lock and parking brake are activated when you release the driving pedal. Kranman 960 has a heavy-duty molded waist with well-protective waist lock cylinders and integrated steering cylinders in the reartrailerone. Most of the development work we have put on the cab. The cab is rubber suspended and foldable with double cabin floors and three insulated torpedo walls facing the engine compartment. This means that we get a noise level of a very low 76 db at full engine speed. That’s far below the requirements for hearing protection and arguably class-leading. Thanks to the spacious cab and the curved window, you get a very good all-round view. The very comfortable seat is air-cushioned in height and also cushioned. With the servo levers located in the armrests, you control both the crane and the machine’s control. The servo hydraulics make the crane easy to operate with precise precision and high reliability. Both AC and app-controlled diesel heaters are found in the various equipment packages. The storage options are very well sized and cleverly placed. With powerful cross-directional LED lights, shadow formation is minimized and an even pleasant light image is created. On Kranman 960 sits our completely newly developed crane KX50 Extreme series. The crane is developed with a focus on strength and optimized movement pattern. Thanks to our 4-point comfort joint and fast protrusion, forwarding becomes efficient and easy. Of course, our most powerful winch HV1000 is mounted. The machine is supplied with swivel stakes or forwarder bunks. Regardless of the choice, the bunks are movable in a total of 15 different steps, which means great flexibility.
